The measurement devices were constructed as part of an independent project by Jonas and Matas, two students from Lithuania, utilizing a Russian design as a basis. Their device detects Schumann frequency oscillations and provides global access to this data. With enthusiasm and collaborative support from Chinese students, notably in establishing a secondary station in Jinchang, China, two operational stations are now active: one in Lithuania and one in China.

While the data is openly accessible, it is important to acknowledge that the enthusiasts involved are still gaining experience and may not have fully calibrated all components of their hardware. Their primary aim is to foster interest in frequency measurement techniques and to contribute to international scientific collaboration.

The Tallinn station's data is publicly available; additional data from the Chinese station can be accessed at an affordable rate for those interested in extended or historical datasets.
